The Aqua Tower in Chicago stands as a marvel of contemporary architecture, renowned for its innovative and organic design. Completed in 2009, the tower was designed by architect Jeanne Gang of Studio Gang Architects. What sets Aqua apart is its undulating and rippling façade, resembling waves or contours of natural landscapes. History

Aqua was designed by Studio Gang Architects, led by firm principal and founder, Jeanne Gang, and it was the firm's first skyscraper project. When completed in 2009, the project was the largest ever awarded to an American firm headed by a woman.The Aqua Tower in Chicago represents a distinctive chapter in the city's architectural history, where it departured from conventional high-rise structures, challenging traditional norms with its fluid and undulating form.
